On Friday, March 16, Millbrook Masonic Lodge #97 lost Brother Bobby W. Trogdon.
Bobby Warren Trogdon, age 79, died peacefully at home, with family by his side, on Friday, March 16, 2012. A visitation will be held from 5-6 PM Sunday, March 18 in the Chapel of Belk Funeral Home, with funeral services starting at 6:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, in Star Cemetery in Star, North Carolina.
Born July 14, 1932, in Star, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Henry W. and Blanche Chappel Trogdon. He was the loving husband of Betty Dagless Trogdon for 56 years. Mr. Trogdon served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after 23 years of service, and was of the Methodist Faith. Bobby joined the Masons in 1968 while living in England, and was still a Mason until the time of his death, most recently being a member of Millbrook Lodge #97 in Raleigh, NC. He owned and operated the “Tick Tock Shop”, a clock business, for 25 years in Raleigh, North Carolina. After moving to Darlington, he continued going to homes and businesses in the area repairing clocks, specializing in grandfather clocks.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons: Dr. Johnny W. (Joyce) Trogdon of Darlington, James C. Trogdon of Chapel Hill, Michael D. Trogdon of Chapel Hill; eight grandchildren: Isaac Trogdon of Germany, Sarah Trogdon of New York, Pascha Trogdon (Joshua) Simonan of Darlington, Justin Trogdon of Darlington, Hannah Trogdon of Chapel Hill, Emily Trogdon of Charleston, Robert Trogdon of Darlington, Olivia Trogdon of Chapel Hill; three great-grandchildren: Abigail, Thomas and Georgia. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mickey Trogdon.

Bro. Trogdon was born on July 14, 1932. He was initiated as an Entered Apprentice October 19, 1966, passed to the degree of Fellowcraft May 10, 1967, and raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason November 8, 1967.
